Great location lovley village! House and garden are fine. No wi-fi which should be standard nowadays. Shower cubicle leaked a little water and the carpets are average. Nice place

The landlady was always available by mail and very nice.
The house is quiet and only a few minutes from the sea. Good starting point for excursions.

Very comfortable accommodation in tranquil setting. The house had everything we needed although you are required to take your own bedlinen. Kitchen fully equipped, comfortable beds and living areas. We could have done with wifi but this didn't ruin the holiday. The short walk to the harbour was lovely and with a range of large supermarkets nearby, you don't need to travel far for anything. Would definitely recommend for a family holiday. Some excellent walking on the doorstep too.

Owner's response:

Thankyou for your kind review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back again

“Superb location, excellent facilities”
We stayed at Appletree House for a week whilst visiting Cornish relatives that live close by. We had our two retired Guide Dogs with us and found the close availability of coastal walks and beaches eminently suitable for exercising them. The quiet and friendly neighbourhood was very enjoyable as were the closely accessible restaurants and cafes which provided an easy alternative to home cooking made easy by range of kitchen appliances available. Easy access to Asda and Tesco supermarkets made shopping quick and trouble free.
