Restawhile is a cosy one bedroom annex of 5 Trevenen Bal , located just outside Helston, with countryside walks right on your doorstep.
It has a well equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room with a gas fire, in the style of a solid fuel burner and a large, warm conservatory with outlooks over the fields to the coast
Secure, private parking.
Level access from the car park to the doorway. There is a 4inch/10cms step to the entrance.
The entrance to Restawhile is through a gate to the right hand side of the bungalow. The path leads between the annex on the left and a garden on the right.
At the end of the path is a wooden gate on the left and waste bins on the right. Through this gate, the guests will access the courtyard that serves the annex. Garden chairs, table and a BBQ are available for use on the courtyard.
The view from the courtyard looks to the southwest, over the property’s field and down the valley towards Helston and to Mount Bay.
Following the path , the guests will access the door on the right into the conservatory
The mainly south facing conservatory has roof and window blinds on the south and west sides.. A sliding door gives access to the living room. There is a two seater seat and a coffee table with plenty of room for relaxing and enjoying the views .
The property is covered by fast fibre WI-FI and guests will have free access.
The living room has a tiled floor , with a remote controlled gas fire, in the style of a solid fuel burner. A two seater settee, an arm chair, coffee table, rug in front of the fire, and a drawer unit (containing games and a DAB radio/CD player) as well a smart TV make this a comfortable and cosy place to relax .
Situated in the corner in the corner of the living room are , an oak dining table and two chairs
The room has a CO2 alarm on the ceiling to the right of the fire.

On the right is the main work surface with electric cooker including hob, grill and oven : above is an extractor unit. The unit on the left has a microwave on top and cooking utensils below. On the right is a drawer unit containing eating and cooking utensils. The fridge is to the right of the drawers with a preparation surface above. The kitchen is well stocked for food preparation, including kettle and toaster
On the ceiling is a fire alarm; there is also a fire blanket, a fire extinguisher and basic first aid kit. At the side of the sink unit is a waste bin.

Leaving the kitchen and turning right, leads into the double bedroom. This has a west facing window, also with a day/night blind. The floor is carpeted. A king size bed is centred on the back wall, with drawer units and lights either side. Bed linen is provided and a choice of tog for the duvet . Additional blankets are available on request. On the left of the bed is a chair. An electric heater, (instructions are in the client’s file) provides additional background heating if required.
A mirror is on the wall . Access to the shower room is via a sliding door .
The shower room consists of a sink, toilet and a large, walk -in shower. The opening window on the right of the sink has privacy glass and a roller blind. There are ample towel rails and a mirror. The ceiling has an extractor fan.

Head out from your self-catering holiday apartment in Helston for the day to enjoy the second oldest town in Cornwall where tales of Saxons go back to the 6th century and a charter was granted to the town in 1201. History since then has seen the town prosper as a tin mine and relics of Helston’s dramatic past can be found all around town – as can they be found throughout the Lizard Peninsula.
From your apartment in Helston you may well want to visit the Helston Museum full of historic memories, follow the Helston Town Trail from the Guildhall to learn even more, explore the National Trust Penrose Estate on foot or bicycle, or take a ride on the Helston Railway – an ongoing steamy restoration project. The town also has all the conveniences you need on holiday including two grocery stores and a petrol station.

From here, you’re also only an easy 40 minute drive from Land’s End and all that lies in between.
