- Mousehole Harbour LightsWhen in Cornwall at Christmas, you must go to see the spectacular Mousehole Harbour Lights! With a mulled wine in hand, wonder through the quiet village and harbour and see gaze at the twinkling lights from each of the light displays. Which will be your favourite? Will it be the green serpent up in the harbour? See if you can find where the Stargazey pie is... You'll definitely be feeling festive after visiting this light display!

- Eden ProjectIt's important to pop by and see Father Christmas to put in a good word before Christmas Day and to of course make sure he's received your Christmas list! Where better to visit Father Christmas than the world's largest greenhouse, the Eden Project? Meet the big man himself, his elves and even get to see "behind the scenes", including the elves beds and the pigeonholes with everybody's Christmas letters.

- Fowey Christmas MarketWho doesn't love a Christmas market to get them in the festive spirit? The Fowey Christmas market attracts around 10,000 people each year, displaying a range of handmade, locally produced items. The market runs for three consecutive days, from Friday 6th December - Sunday 8th December. - Go to FalmouthFalmouth can be a brilliant place to visit during the winter months. It is home to the National Maritime Museum, where you can discover some epic stories of exploration and endeavor. The main street is full of character, with a number of small galleries and independent shops. It even has a bookstore within a pub, Beerwolf, which is a lovely place to cosy up with a book and a drink, especially when it's cold outside.

- Carnglaze CavernsThere's no getting away from the fact it rains more during winter... but don't let that ruin your holiday spirit! Venture underground in the Carnglaze Caverns, a fantastic all-weather tourist attraction in St Neot, on the edge of Bodmin Moor. The former slate mine is a great place to visit to learn about the miners' ingenuity and skills.

- Healey's Cyder FarmWhere better place to visit on a cold January day than Healey's Cyder Farm, the home of the famous Rattler! There's plenty to do at this attraction, from visiting their farm animals, to enjoying a bite to eat (and perhaps a pint of Rattler too!). Join one of their guided tours around the farm, which will take you on a journey of how and where everything is produced. Free samples of the farm's produce is available, including their range of ciders, wines, juices and jams. It's an attraction not to miss for cider lovers visiting Cornwall during winter!

Best Places to visit in Cornwall during February
- Tintagel CastleWrap up warm and head to the north coast of Cornwall to Tintagel Castle. Linked to the legend of King Arthur, enjoy a day of myths, history and of course, the beautiful scenery of which the castle is set. Walk across the new footbridge, completed in August 2019, which for the first time in over 500 years, reunited the two halves of the castle. It is to be noted that during winter, the cafe, The Land Rover, will not be open.

- Visit St IvesSt Ives is beautiful in the winter and it can be a fantastic time to visit. It can be especially good for for dog owners, with seasonal dog bans lifted. Your four legged friends can run free on one of the six beaches in the area all day! Take advantage of the untouched sandy beaches, which if you visit in the summer, are usually full to the brim! If you love art, be sure to visit the the Tate St Ives and Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden.

- Go to HeartlandsWhy not learn about mining history of Cornwall at Heartlands, the World Heritage Site? It is a free attraction for visitors, set on a former derelict mining landscape and is open every day of the year, with the exception of Christmas Day and Boxing Day. There's lots to do at Heartlands, from taking a look around the key mining attractions, to exploring the outdoor adventure playground. It even has an onsite eatery, the Red River Cafe, serving fresh food using locally sourced produce wherever possible.
