Are you searching for things to do in Penzance with your family this summer?

Penzance has plenty to offer, from beautiful beaches to National Trust properties and boat trips. There is something for everyone!

Jubilee Pool

If you like swimming, you must visit the Jubilee pool. It is the largest sea water pool in the UK and can hold up to 600 swimmers. There is also a geothermal pool that can have 50 people in it per session. The main pool is normally about 1 – 2 degrees above the temperature of the sea. However, the geothermal pool is heated to between 30 and 35 degrees via a 410m deep geothermal well. Jubilee Pool is a community-run pool that has lifeguards and there is a café which offers a seasonal take away menu, fresh coffee and local tray bakes from St. Ives Bakery. It’s a great place for lunch!

Trengwainton Garden

Trengwainton Garden is a National Trust run property situated just inland from Penzance. With woodland paths, large green spaces and beautiful sea views from specific points, these lovely gardens are an excellent place for a walk or picnic for the family, just bring your blanket and pick your favourite spot! ???? In the summer there are plenty of activities for families to join in! Most run from the 24th of July- 4 September during normal opening times and there is no booking necessary, just normal admission charges apply. Dogs on leads are welcome too. To get to Trengwainton Garden, it’s a 7-minute drive from Penzance town centre.

Eureka Escape in Penzance

These are exciting and interactive real-life escape rooms in Penzance, Truro, and Falmouth. It’s a great place to bring your family and friends to get together and race against time to find clues and solve puzzles. With many themed escape rooms, you are guaranteed an unforgettable experience full of fun, adventure and intrigue!

Mermaid pleasure trips

Take your family on the sea safari!  The route experiences the unseen beauty of the Mount from the seaward side, while you keep an eye out for the dolphins and porpoises very often seen in this location. Skippers are in radio contact with other boats, and will be told of any dolphins, porpoises and other notable wildlife in the area, so you won‘t miss them! Spot the Cormorants, Gannets, Puffins and Sun Fish. Minky and Humpback Whales have also been seen here.
