Last but not least in our rankings we have Newquay Zoo. An institution of Cornish family days out- Newquay Zoo has all of the big cats and monkeys a child could wish to see with an ice cream in their hand. The Zoo has daily events where, for no charge at all, you can enjoy feeding sessions and q and a's with zookeepers and trainers. The Lion enclosure talk starts at 2:30pm.

4. Camel Creek Adventure Park

Camel Creek is a fantastic choice for families with young children. We have all had to stand with an upset little one who wasn't tall enough for the ride, which is the exact dilemma Camel Creek solves! Exclusively for under-13s, Camel Creek has a whole host of experiences, rollercoasters and water rides that are safe for the smallest members of the family.

3. Blue Reef Aqaurium

The Blue Reef Aquarium is a south coast gem. The little ones are guaranteed to see sea monsters they've never seen before as well as pick up fun facts about fish, sharks and conservation along the way. A family of four can be booked in in-advance for £35.19. Additionally, the Newqauy location makes it easy to find a coastal view for dinner after you're done exploring.

2. Flambards

Flambards is our pick for high octane parents of high octane children. Full of excellent over 13s and under 13s rollercoaster options, Flambards makes a fantastic choice for parents not interested in watching from the sidelines.

1. The Eden Project

The Eden Project is the crown jewel of Cornish attractions and it offers very unique experiences for individuals of all ages. The project is an educational charity tasked with repopulating some of the worlds rarest plants regardless of their natural biosphere. In this, they have a host of giant glass domes which you can walk through to explore the sights, smells and temperatures of forests all over the world.

Eden also has events and childrens activities to keep the little ones busy as well as seasonal attractions like ice skating in its main 'tent'.
