This one's for all you Cornwall lovers.

Cornwall is full of hidden gems and secret spots waiting for you to discover, and they aren't all beaches! If you're interested in travelling the less-travelled path, these should be on your travel bucket list for your next UK adventure.

1 St. Nectan's Glen

Tucked away in a mystical woodland near Tintagel, St. Nectan's Glen is a hidden oasis of peace and tranquility. Follow a scenic trail through the forest to discover a stunning 60-foot waterfall cascading into a sacred pool. It's a place of spiritual significance and a serene spot for reflection and relaxation. There is a cafe on site too.

2 Bodmin Moor

Escape the crowds and head inland to Bodmin Moor, a wild and rugged landscape filled with legends and history. Explore the ancient stone circles, mysterious tors, and the hauntingly beautiful abandoned quarries that make incredible swim spots, like Gold Diggings. Bodmin Moor offers endless opportunities for hiking and wildlife spotting.

3 Housel Bay

The Lizard is one of the least visited spots in Cornwall, yet is home to breathaking beaches and unspoilt scenery. You may have heard of Kynance cove which has got a bit of a name for itself in recent years, but not too far away is the equally stunning, slightly off track Housel Bay. Housel Bay is within a stone's throw of the most southerly point in mainland Britain. The water in the cove is a beautiful Turquoise. It will be a steep scramble down and isn't for the faint hearted, but you will be thankful you made it here. Be careful with the tides!

4 St Michaels Mount - but done differently!

If you're a lover of Cornwall, you have likely already ventured here. But time for a different take, why not try paddleboarding around the island and take it all in from the water? There are many local SUP hire companies. Usually accessible on foot by a cobbled causeway just twice a day, St Michael's subtropical gardens and striking medieval castle do make it a popular destination.

5 Cadgwith

A tiny fishing village forgotten by the 21st century, get off the beaten track and explore this incredibly picturesque fishing port. This sleepy Cornish village has very few outlets and places to eat, but this is how it has kept its authenticity and Cornish charm. Take a dip on the shingle beach, it makes for a great snorkelling spot on the Lizard.
