Maize Maze and Pumpkin Picking

Smeaton Farm, Saltash: 18th- 31st

Head to Smeaton Farm for a day of family-friendly autumnal fun. Explore their themed maize maze and even pick your own pumpkin ready for Halloween!  

 

Zog and the Flying Doctors at Eden

Eden Project, Par: 25th- 2nd

Join a botanical quest through outdoor gardens and biomes to hunt for hidden ingredients, while meeting beloved characters, and uncovering clues along the way.  Meet Zog in person at the Pavilion each day for a perfect photo opportunity, and don’t forget to come dressed up in your best dragon wings, crowns or capes!   

 

Treasure Trails

Multiple locations, Whenever

Check out treasure hunts, detective mysteries and spy missions in towns, villages, and cities all over Cornwall. With Treasure Trails you'll see the sights, solve the clues, and above all, have fun with your family or team!

Ice Skating at Eden

Eden Project, Par: From the 18th

Lace up your skates! Cornwall's most well-loved ice rink will return to the Eden Project on 18 October 2025 until 22 February 2026.  

 

Studio Do

Tate St Ives: 18th- 2nd

The Studio Do programme creates immersive installations and play-based activities that offer self-directed art experiences for children, parents and carers. This October welcomes ‘Leap then Look’ to transform STUDIO DO into a participatory sculpt, move and play space for half term. Led by artists Lucy Cran and Bill Leslie, visitors of all ages are invited to explore art through interaction, collaboration and making.  

 

Book Festival

Falmouth: 20th- 26th

Now in its fifth year, the Falmouth Book Festival brings together brilliant writers, curious readers, and a spirit of conversation and community. It's a celebration of books and the ideas that shape them.    

 

Halloween Specials:

Newquay Zombie Crawl

Newquay Town Centre: 25th

Get ready for a spine-chilling adventure as Newquay transforms into a playground for the undead! The annual Spooky Newquay Zombie Crawl is creeping back into town, promising a day of frightful fun and monstrous mayhem for all the family to enjoy.  

 

Halloween At The Farm

Healey’s Cyder Farm: 11th-31st

Board the haunted Vintage Tractor and you'll be taken to the Healeys Pumpkin Patch to pick out your very own pumpkin! After you've found the perfect pumpkin, it's time to get creative in the Rattler Bar, which will be transformed into a spooky pumpkin carving family workshop!  

 

Fireworks

Lappa Valley, Bodmin: 31st-1st

The historic 19th Century Engine House is brought alive by the Kernow Fireworks Company with a dazzling display of rockets, fountains, candles and more! Their cafe will be open serving a range of delicious hot and cold food, snacks as well as soft and alcoholic beverages. A well stocked glow products stall will be on hand to purchase glow sticks, glow glasses, headbands and more.
